Dixie Fried are a 2 piece Mississippi Hill Country blues inspired rock (ish) band from West Lothian in Central Scotland
Our music is inspired by the likes of Junior Kimbrough, RL Burnside, Robert Belfour and the North Mississippi Allstars with also by the likes of The Black Keys and Led Zeppelin, making the Dixie Fried sound.
We have played Belladrum, Eden Festival, Beatherder, Maryport Blues, Dundee Blues Bonanza, and the for the past 6 years the Internationally reknown Edinburgh Jazz and Blues Festival. We have supported artists such as GA-20s, Bob Log III, Cedric Burnside, Broken Hands, Marcus Bonfanti, Proud Mary and dozens more when they come to Scotland.
Our 4th album is recorded and will be released this year.
