The Invaders

The Invaders are a 4 piece covers/party/function band, covering most musical styles, 60s/70s, Rock, Pop, Blues, Ska, Country, Jazz, Soul, Swing, R&B etc…..(The Doors, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Eric Clapton, Amy Winehouse, Small Faces, Rolling Stones, Paulo Nutini, Oasis, Etta James, Fleetwood Mac, Junior Wells, Elvis, The Fratellis, Patti Smith etc.) The Invaders started in 2018 and arose from the Ashes of the Blues Band ‘Meet Mr Callaghan’.
Our variety in musical styles and our versatility has meant that we can adapt to suit the venue, client, audience and occasion. Female lead vocals and also male vocals, guitars, harmonica, drums, percussion. We mostly play fully electric . All equipment , PA, amps, mics, drum kit and lights. Experienced and professional and fun. Some of the other bands we have played with previously…The Accelerators, Border Radio, Last Tango in Memphis, Meet Mr Callaghan, Pzazz, Skababs, Rockahillbillies, MMC ….
We play regularly, mostly Central Scotland - Edinburgh, Falkirk, Stirling, Glasgow, Livingston etc. Also Northern England (Berwick, Newcastle). Venues include Royal Mile Tavern, B Bar Biblos, No2 Baker Street, Falkirk Blues Club, Scotia Glasgow, Callander Jazz and Blues festival ….and lots more. We play Pubs and at Social clubs, Blues Clubs, at weddings, parties, festivals…No venue too large or small.
